| Start | X | The walk will be started near West Side Retail Park. From the start, follow the tarmac road down and then turn right across the railway bridge and enter the field on your left immediately after the bridge. Follow the path through the fields to join the track at SE 191 409, turn left and pass under the railway bridge. Cross the stile on the right after the railway bridge and follow the permissive path over the stream bridge and through Spring Woods to join the concrete road at SE 183 404. Cross the road and take the short track into Esholt village. Follow the road (Esholt Lane) southwest out of the village and turn right at SE 171 397 to cross the field after passing the golf driving range. Follow the path to the Bucket Drop at SE 170 398. |

X | Cross the road with care and go up the steps. At the top, follow the path through the field and to the left of the old chapel. Cross and then follow the track past cottages up the hill to SE 165 400. Follow the track down to the memorial and turn left to follow the track and paths to the next checkpoint, Moorside at SE 157 404. |

Keep the wall on your left past east and west buck stone outcrops, until a boundary stone is reached at SE 088 462. Turn here to follow the good path in a northerly direction across the moor to the wall corner & follow the wall down to the checkpoint at SE 088 471, Pipers Crag. |

X | X | Take the signed path right from the road to join up to White Wells. Pass White Wells and follow the path up the steps and up towards the ridge ahead. Turn left at SE 121 465 to pass through Rocky Valley and onto the ridge behind the Cow and Calf rocks. Follow the ridge path to SE 146 451 then take the path to the self-clip checkpoint at SE 148 451, Coldstone Ghyll. |

X | X | Turn right on road after the checkpoint for a short distance and cross to follow the first track down to stile at SE 155 450. Follow the path across the fields to join Bleach Mill Lane at SE 160 445. Follow this track into Menston Village. Turn left on Burley Road then right down Fairfax Road to a narrow track path on the left after Fairfax Gardens. Follow this path to cross the footbridge over the railway at SE 172 444. Carry on down the path to the road at SE 174 445. Cross the road and turn right to the path through houses to the road at SE 177 444. Cross the road, turn left and take the signed path on your right up the ridge above Ellar Ghyll to the road at SE 187 444. Turn left down the road to reach a path on the right at the bottom of a steep hill, SE 195 448. Follow this path up to self clip at SE 195 444. |

X | Go up the hill to reach the wood proper at SE 194 443. From the steps go forward in a southerly direction for about 100 paces and take the broad woodland path on the left heading southeasterly to the top of the wood. On reaching the wall at the top of the wood turn left on the path for 50 paces to reach the path junction. Take the path to the right southerly, and follow the good path to the checkpoint at SE 199 441, Yorkgate Quarry |

X | X | Leave the quarry turning right on road and keeping to the verge until reaching a rough track on the left at SE 196 440. Follow this track to Moor Lane at SE 194 432, turn left and follow down the road to Guiseley, past the Church, and down the Green to finish at the Scout HQ, SE 194 419. |
